West Chester Playschool’s 34th Annual Silent & Live Auction is unfolding Saturday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. with a special preview at 6 p.m. for those looking to get an auction sneak peek. As their largest fundraising event, this year taking place at West Chester Senior Center (530 East Union Street), the affair helps West Chester Playschool maintain its small size by offsetting operating expenses as well as providing new materials, programs, and learning experiences to continue educating the children of our community.
Hundreds of local West Chester friends and families attend the Auction and you’re welcome to join for FREE, too. There is no admission fee, complimentary food, a cash bar—and great deals. The Auction is open to the public so feel free to join and bring plenty of friends. Victory Beer will also be flowing for those looking to enjoy a refreshing craft beer with complimentary eats and great company.
Auction items include original works of art by local artists, four Disney World park hopper tickets, a private tour of the DC area, hotel stays, cooking classes, golf outings, massage and spa, yoga and personal training, wine, family photography packages, signed sports memorabilia, kids’ birthday parties, gym memberships, car care, numerous restaurant gift certificates, wine tours, tickets to sporting events, museums, theaters, and many other local attractions, and much, much more!
In addition, there will be an “Auction After Party” at Teca, which all are welcome to attend, and a portion of purchases at the West Chester restaurant will also be donated to Playschool!
