Tune in to WCHE 1520 on Friday, February 22, from noon to 1 p.m. for Eat, Drink and Meet Mary.
Mary is in for a treat on today’s show since delicious eats and tangy drinks are coming her way with both guests.
First, Diane Miller of New Street Catering will be joining Mary to share the lowdown on their movie-themed menu for Chester County Community Foundation’s Lincoln Oscar Party. The Town Dish was able to share that menu with our readers prior to the event, and now Diane will be discussing how the ideas were created, the special ingredients used, and what mood they’re looking to set with the cuisine. Plus, she’ll bring samples from the menu to the station so Mary can taste test her way through the delightful bites and let every listener know just how amazing they are.
Next, Mary will be celebrating National Margarita Day in the greatest fashion—and the only way Margarita Day should be celebrated—by sampling unique concoctions from Mas Mexicali Cantina‘s Professional Mixologist, Mike O’Donnell. His name may be Irish but he’s a whiz at whipping up specialty Mexican cocktails and plans to prove it on today’s show. Tune in for the scoop on Mas’s unique margaritas, the Pepino and El Diablo. One of them has a fiery kick and the other is made with soothing, fresh cucumber. Can you guess which is which?
The show may be streamed live from the internet HERE.
A big “thank you” goes out to this week’s sponsors: America’s Pie, Downingtown Country Club, Kati Mac Floral Design and Cakes and Candies by Maryellen.
