Tune into WCHE 1520 today, August 10th, from noon to 1 p.m. for Eat, Drink and Meet Mary! One tiny detail to realize for this Friday’s show; there is no Mary. Town Dish’s Editor in Chief, Amy Strauss, will be chit-chatting her way through a hefty guest line-up in lieu of Mary’s absence. The girl knows her way around a radio mic so take a step back and get ready. She’ll be joined by a few mad men behind some local kitchen operations and delve deeper into their crazy culinary lives.

First you’ll hear from the owner and chef of the new Croft’s Tavern in Spring City. Amy, Craig and Rich are all eager to talk about the contemporary American Pub which serves primarily “farm to table” menu items that are scratch made. Their menu items aren’t what you’re used to seeing at a pub style restaurant, but in the very best way possible. Amy’s ready to get the dish details from the people who know it best!
Another Chef, Mike Hall of Muse in Oxford, will step up after Croft’s Tavern to discuss the farm to table concept at Muse. He gathers much of their produce on his weekly visits to a farm in Gap and you’ll be able to get the full scoop by tuning in. Mike and Amy may even chat about the recent Prohibition Night that took place at Muse last Thursday night or upcoming specials that Muse fans can look forward to.
Lastly, George Bieber of Shorty’s Sunflower Truck will join Amy on the air to talk about his unique offerings and his new spot at the Phoenixville Farmer’s Market. Haven’t heard of Shorty’s yet? That’s because he’s still a bit under the radar but you can get all the necessary fun facts about this unique food truck from the show today. Amy is not afraid to get down to the nitty gritty and bare all so that’s what you’re going to get with today’s show!
Enjoy!
