Tune into WCHE1520 today, July 6, from noon to 1 pm for Eat, Drink and Meet Mary! There are some big events unfolding in the next couple of days and we have the right guys to talk to for the exclusive information. We’ll also be chatting with a talented chef about his unique restaurant and local efforts.
Host Mary Bigham of The Town Dish will be chatting with President of Iron Hill, Kevin Finn, about some recent changes that took place to the Mug Club Memberships. The changes, mandated by the state, aren’t anything to be worried about. Iron Hill will take care of their valued customers as they always do and want to keep them in the loop as much as possible while they prepare for the new regulations. The Restaurant & Brewery will still continue with their normally awesome business like the 8th Annual Twilight Criterium unfolding tomorrow, July 7, in West Chester and some interesting “blobby” specials for Phoenixville’s Blob Fest on July 13 and 14.
Stay tuned after Kevin’s interview to get the inside scoop from Founder and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Rolling Barrel Events. Matt Mebert will be joining Mary to discuss the interesting concept behind the Philadelphia event planning company which began in 2007. The manly friend duo behind this company can offer much more than planning and Matt can’t wait to talk about their various services and events. One event in particular is going to be huge this year and it’s going down tomorrow, July 7, at Citizens Bank Park. Their 5th Annual BBQ in the Ballpark is expecting a fanatic crowd for lots of great beer, good food and fun activities before the Phillie’s game. There are many ticket options still available and maybe even a pair to win on the show….?
Lastly, but certainly not least, listeners will hear from Tim Smith, the Executive Chef and Owner of Twelves Grill & Cafe. His local efforts and “keeping it in the family” techniques for running the restaurant started since day one. Fairly new to the Philadelphia area dining scene, Eat, Drink and Meet Mary is prepared to learn more about his unique venue, special dishes and more! If you’ve been fortunate enough to try his cuisine, then tune in to learn more about the man behind the food. If you’re still trying to get to Twelves Grill, this broadcast will give you some good reasons to visit as soon as possible!
Today’s show is just what you need to get pumped for the weekend’s events and all the local love in the Philadelphia area. Tune in at noon!
