We will never return to this restaurant. My wife was eating her mashed potatoes when she felt something metallic in her mouth. It ended up being some sort of wire. How it got into the food was beyond us. Really horrible situation. Literally left a bad taste in our mouths about the West Chester Diner.
wc diner is my favorite diner in chester county. they serve lacas coffee- so good! and the soup and salad bar is great, lots of choices. i dont recommend the italian dishes but they seem to do a good job with everything else. good service, depending. i recommend it!
Just had breakfast there and any resemblance to Hollandaise sauce on my Eggs Benedict was purely coincidental. The sauce was yellow, yes…but it tasted more like bad and extremely thick, canned cream of chicken soup. This 'taste treat' (not) was served with dry, grainy home fries. The whole thing was awful. Saw the waitress twice and once she asked if everything was alright. I told her "not really" and she smiled and kept walking. Maybe she agreed?
I totally agree with the previous comment. This place is not good at all. Coffee, horrible; Pancakes, soggy; Service, just plain rude. If you value a good dining experience and food, then I would stongly advise against going here!
We stopped by this diner one evening for dinner. I do not reccomend this place.
Yuch! The Old Denny's near Shop Rite was better than this place.
First, The salad bar was straight out of the can and plastic tub. Macaroni salad potato salad even the pudding was out of a tub, not at all appetizing. Second,The cucumbers were soggy and the bread & rolls were stale. Third, the veggies that came with my daughter's dinner were soggy and coleslaw tasteless.
Finally, the service was subpar similar to a plate of cold mashed potatoes made from a card board box.
