I’ve visited there over several years. As a bar It’s a good idea to know the bartenders for better service. The menu is not very well updated or in stock. It’s just a very outdated corner bar.
Sure, we visit other places, but we always come back home to Square Bar. Just enough beer variety, and a menu you can’t spend 10 bucks on. An older, relaxed crowd that’s just outside Borough parking meters.
Great bar with surprisingly good bar food(as good as bar food can get). Good place to hang low and have a few beers with some buddies. Cheap place for drinks and a quick bite. Go here if you are watching your wallet and want to go out either to eat and drink a few beers or just go out. Overall C for the food/atmosphere and B as a hangout spot.
