Never going to New Haven again…
I encourage everyone to walk the extra block to Benny’s because they have the best pie in town. At New Haven I ordered a “large” (not even close to a large) sausage pie in late August and got what I’m pretty sure was a $5 frozen pizza from the Giant grocery store that they heated up and was hard as a board by the time I got home (a 5 minute walk).
is this new location new ownership as well ? is the pizza new ? has anyone been since they moved ?
Same owners…same pizza, just a nicer spot to enjoy. I believe Teddy owns this building.
Great pizza-we used to go to Brother's which makes a good pie but we think New Haven's is better.

I have yet to find a better pizza. So lucky I live within walking distance!
the best small pepperoni pizza ever! highly recommend it.
My hubbie and I have a quest to find the best pizza in town–so we have been tasting and comparing pizzas for 5 years. And each time, New Haven's pizza has won out. The crust is perfect with a crunch and a chew; the sauce is flavorful and abundant; toppings are fresh. And it passes the next morning test (cold, right out of the fridge). Poli kala!
And while we aren't huge steak eaters, their cheesesteaks are very good–similar to Lorenzo's which we also like.
And the service at the counter is always pleasant, no matter how many folks are waiting.
Great steaks, can definitely taste oregano which I think sets them apart from a lot of the other options in town.
