i was there with my family on a Sunday and everything was great. very good food my hubby fell in love with the ribs. I had chicken and it was really good.Great service, very friendly employee & she did it all the cooking,the serving i was really impressed.

My fav place mo’s grill lunch, dinner, and the best pizza in town def should try the BBQ chicken pizza it’s delicious. Great employee very friendly. Best food in town MO’S. Keep up the good work
I tried some of the jerk chicken several weeks ago, and it tasted nothing like real jerk chicken that I’ve had in Mo Bay or Negril. Sorry, just being honest.
Wow! I am posting this to thank everyone last night for their patronage and understanding as I was alone in the kitchen. If I made any mistakes let me know! Thanks to everyone! Feel free to leave a comment becasue that is what keeps us on our toes.

Everytime i am in west chester i visit mo’s and order something different everytime and so far Mo’s is my fav place the food is amazing especially the jerk & the double order of mac.

Regarding restaurant.com and Moes….per restaurant.com, Moes has started the process of canceling their membership in the program; however, they did not notify restaurant.com that they were not going to be accepting certificates. As agreed upon in their contract, the restaurant needs to accept certificates purchase prior to their final cancellation date.
Well Mike regarding the chicken the jerk sauce is imported right from Jamaica as I too travel there frequently. The chicken comes right from Colonial Market in West Chester courtsey of Rich and never boiled, baked or frozen. We are in West Chester not Jamaica and due to certain regulations with the National code and space requirements that is just a ludicrous statement. As far as Restaurant.com is concerned I am glad you have a copy of my contract on hand and you know every phone call and decision that is made with Mo’s Grill. Mo’s Rhythm Kitchen no longer exists. Isn’t it funny how the last two reviews are restaurant.com customers (disgruntled about not getting a ton a free food I would suspect). To all of my loyal happy customers thank you and see you soon!!!
Wow , you are not really coming across in a good light , are you the manager or owner ? I am pretty surprised that you are angry at people who used restaurant.com ? seems like the type of thing a small business would want to at least honor to keep customers happy so that they might return for more business ….also you really have someone ship you jerk from Jamaica ? seems like a waste and sort against the whole spirit of the freshness of great jerk ……I have never been able to try your food as anytime I have ever called or stopped by on the weekend the place is either not open or nobody answers the phone
I purchase froma carribean spice dist. becasue it is actually the quality I look for. They don’t use any other ingredients in there sauces like preservatives yuck! It’s a cost issue when i make it fresh it actually costs more to procuce the same quatlity of jerk. The world is so connected anymore that it is alot easier and it allows us to bring you the same quality without killing you -the customer on price. Freshness wise it’s the same. The hours posted above we are always here ( i live above) so I’m surprised you haven’t had the opportunity to try us out. Stop in and I will be glad to give you samples on the house. Very disappointed in the jerk chicken. We travel to Jamaica 4-5 times a year and love jerk chicken and pork. I was not expecting the jerk to be like the jerk cooked slowly in a barrel grill over pimento wood, but this stuff was not good.
The chicken seemed to be either cooked in advance or boiled, maybe reheated, or finished off, then lots of jerk sauce dumped on it. This is not the way jerk is cooked or should taste.
I called there yesterday and had a difficult time understanding the person. I tried to place a to go order and had to repeat every order and was still not able to place the order. I asked to speak to a manager to relay the order and was told that she was the manager. Was so frustrated that I had to end the call and place an order elsewhere. Not a pleasant time.
First Let me start by saying THANK YOU WEST CHESTER! Thanks to all of our loyal patrons who undertand we are human and we make mistakes but most of all thanks for growing with us over the past year and a half. Now onto you Amy, you had a restaurant.com certificate which we no longer accept which is why you so rudely hung up on my employee I was standing right next to her when your call came in. She has been here oh about 6 months and we have never had a problem with anyone understanding her. Visited the other day and ordered the Jerk Pulled Pork sandwich. It was great! Lots of flavor and just the right amount of spice. Keep up the good work!
wow.. I have to say if you have never had Pineapple Upside Down cake or even if you have, this give new meaning to the word!! Kevin made a special double layer cake for my Mother's birthday and it was out of this world! I have never had anything life it.. It was so moist, the flavor was unbeleivable. He really went out of his way to make this special and we all so appreciated it. I am really looking forward to trying the rest of the food because if this was amazing, I am sure it was just a taste of what is to come! Don't miss out! Thanks Kevin!
We got take out tonight and it was very good. We had the fried chicken and the jerk chicken. Everyone commented on how moist the chicken was. The jerk was very spicy and it was hard to eat a lot, but that's not bad. The fried chicken had a really good batter. We all loved the mac and cheese. Last to the meal was the lemon cake which was a nice finish to my spicy food. Good luck. I'm anxious to try something else.

Went here once, and it was very disappointing. I was excited when I received a menu and when I got there, all the cook did was take everything out of the freezer and throw it in the deep fryer… it was disgusting. Stay away from this place!
Great food!! I love the jerk chicken and mac and cheese and…………. I love this place!!!OH and the ribs and well EVERYTHING ROCKS!
About as close to real soul food as Burger King, Dude learn how to cook we don't like frozen chicken breast and bottled barbecue sauce.
Please if you arent a real customer stop leaving bogus reviews it is pathetica and so are you get a life —read the inquirer review 4 and a half forks out of 5.
There have been several complaints about no one answering the phone Sunday evening after flyers/menu's were handed out.
I spoke with Kevin, the owner of Mo's and he said they were and are open for business but there was an issue with their phone lines.
The problem has been resolved and Kevin apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
I'm glad I called to find out what was going on. I've eaten there a few times and each time it's awesome. I haven't found one thing I haven't liked, so much better then fast food crap!

I've eaten at Mo's several times and every time the food is quite tasty! It is about time we get more locally owned shops that are more than the run of the mill chains that are only serving mediocre food and no customer service.
The pork is awesome and the mac n cheese is good 'ol southern at it's finest!

We received Mo's menu on our door Saturday evening and decided to give them a try last night. Unfortunately, (or maybe I should say fortunately) no one answered the phone, this was at 7:30 on a Sunday evening. Not sure why a restaurant owner would spend all that time and effort distributing menus to West Chester neighborhoods and be closed the very next day. We ordered from King Chef instead, sorry you missed out on our business.
This restaurant just left menus throuh my entire development last night. The menu states they are open Sundays until 9pm. I called them at 7:30 tonight(Sunday) 4 or 5 times and no one answered. Not even an answering machine. This is not very smart marketing. I will never attempt to eat here again, especially after reading these reviews.
The owner used to be my contractor. One night he cooked for us, after working a full day on my renovation. I’d have him cook for me any day! I miss him… I live in NM now. Way to go, Kevin!
Hello, Mac and Cheese- have we met? Mo's Rhythm Kitchen fills the void for a much needed southern food void in West Chester. We tried it out this weekend- and the food did not disappoint.
I had the mild wings with a side of mac and cheese- both were terrific—-authentic—–and tasty.
We will be back again and again and ….well, you get the picture.
We were very disappointed. I got the jerk chicken (sandwich) and the chicken was pounded thin – about an 1/8 in. thick, and about an inch across. Wow – it didn't even take up half of the bun. My husband got the fried chicken and ate about half of it. It had no taste. The jerk chicken was tasty but there was hardly any chicken. Anyway, we will not be back.
Best fried chicken I have ever tasted. I will so go back SOON.
The employee I spoke with while waiting for our order was one of the nicest persons and took very much pride is what we does. That is something you don’t see from to many college students today.
I’d hire him in a monute.
I will say the only complaint I have is that the owner could be a little mor friendly, he comes off very harsh!

Ribs are super good. Tender and great sauce with the nicest kick, but not overkill. I guess you can request the heat if you want it. I will go back.
WOW! Just went for lunch with my buddy. I got the catfish sandwich with the mac and cheese and baked beans (both of which were homemade). Absolutely amazing!
I take my wings serious.
Wings themselves: Good sized wings (a little bigger than Kildares, Lankmark, and the like) Approx. equal number of flats and drummys.
Cooked: By Kevin, the owner. Wing meat very good, and cooked to perfection. Chicken was moist. The skin was fairly crispy, but gets a little soggy because of the sauce if you wait on them.
Sauce: Banging. There was a lot of sauce so the wings were "wet." I got the hotest sauce they had, called something like Mo's Hell Sauce. It was spicy and yummy. The sauce had kind of a sweet, BBQey, jerk flavour with a swift kick in the ass.
All around, fantastic. If you aren't used to spicy foods, you may want to drop down a level from the hotest.
This place is AMAZING. Their fried chicken is unbeatable…say goodbye to the Colonel for good!
Besides the incredible food, the people are laid back and friendly, but clearly passionate about making each dish to perfection.
More people need to know about this place…an absolute West Chester Gem!
@smobron… I'd wait a couple weeks, or maybe call ahead. As I understand it, they're open, but haven't had their "grand opening" yet.
I really want to try this place , I have stopped by twice during posted hours , 1st time was on a Tuesday afternoon and the lights were off and door locked , I went back two weeks ago on a Sautrday at 1:45 in the afternoon and the door was open but the guy told me to leave as they were not ready yet ….they are not making this easy …I will try once more

What a find!! The folks here have a passion for the food that they like and serve it up well. Wonderful chicken, beans, mac & cheese yumm, and sweet potato pie. ALL HOMEMADE! We'll be back to taste the rest of the menu. Hmmm.. seafood or ribs? potatoes? It all sounds delicious!
