Best hotdogs and shakes – my son and I have been going to Jimmy John’s since we moved to the area 7 years ago – was so glad that they decided to rebuild after the 2010 fire -

They are planning on reopening in November.
My dad used to take me and my little sister to Jimmy John's close to 40 years ago for Sunday lunch.
probably to give my mother a break and to get some time alone with us. He seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. It was such a big part of our childhood. My folks are both gone now. Everyone in my family will miss it. It became a special place for three more generations of the family.
I used to go there with my dad too. Always looked forward to it as a kid. But I still hold out hope that I can share the experience with my son… the website says they're rebuilding. Hopefully they'll keep all the character of the old place when they re-open.
Jimmy John's will be missed.
