  • Went to Harvest for the first time after hearing so much about it. Suggestion to newcomers: Don't waste your time!. Partner and I went around 5 PM on a Friday. Place was empty. Sat at the bar and all the barstaff seem trained to do is sell, sell, sell…..One of the owner's was behind the bar with all the personality of a dead fish. We ordered Edamme and few other appetizers and waited 20 (no exaggeration) minutes and the two hot appetizers were cold. The Edamme never came. We were then presented a choice to pay for the Edamme which finally showed or they would deduct them if we no longer wanted them. We declined and asked for our check which was presented to us letting us know they graciously deducted for the cost of the 2 appetizers we sent back. Great customer service here. Thanks!!! There are so many other places to frequent than to waste one's time with this new age wannabe (premeasured wine glass lines, drinks with lots of ice but little booze). Now we know why on a Friday night at 5 to 6 there was no one in the place. Hot becomes tepid very quickly.

  • Harvest is a lovely spot, very serene and comfortable, warm and welcoming. Impeccable organic, sustainable and locally sourced ingredients, beautifully prepared and presented. Brian Duffy from Kildare's is the executive chef, and Dave Walti IS once again working his magic at the stove. Yay!
Menu items are mostly 500 calories and under, but honestly, you won't miss the extra calories. I had a spring pea and mascarpone ravioli served with a tender and aromatic shaved fennel saute (a special last week) and it was to die for. Also the Salmon Three Ways appetizer. And yes, there are burgers, barbecue and steaks, too! The salads are wonderful, desserts are available in tasting portions, wine in half glasses, very customer-centered selections.

Love the bar area and outside patio area, too.The wait/bar staff are friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the food and drink selections (even the coffee and tea!) I'd strongly suggest reservations for prime times, this has quickly become a go-to spot. Great lunch spot, too..

(I had the crab cakes on our last visit, and they were very good, but they were $22 not $32, maybe a typo?)

  • Went here about a month ago. Had the crab appetizer (amazing) and the scallops which were also very good and filling. My date on the other hand had the crab cakes – he got 2 about the size of golf balls and it was $32. Some of the items obviously are overpriced. Most menu options are 500 calories or less so portions aren't huge. Atmosphere is great! But the door to the outside seating is always open which lets in heat and bugs – something should be done about it. Also you need to make a reservation or else you will wait forever
