Unbelievable Spot in the heart of Exton. No need to drive to Philly or West chester for a incredible atmosphere and spectacular food. Applause to the Chef!!
I never realized this placed existed!! I go to their neighbor the Winner's Circle all the time with my friends and now I bring my girlfriend to the Riverstone for a romantic night out.
My girlfriends and I love the Riverstone. We always order their martini's and a few tapas to share. A diferent experience than anything in the area. Relaxed and fun is what we experence every time we go.
The Riverstone Café?
I have lived in this area for most of my life. I have seen great restaurants come and go.
Last night on a whim I and a friend went to what I am now telling everyone is: THE BEST RESTAURANT IN EXTON AND WEST CHESTER .If you have not had the chance to eat and drink at this food lovers dream you are missing out.
The Riverstone Cafe captures what a restaurant should be enjoyable at all angles. The Riverstone is, Comfortable and affordable with a great ambiance. There wait staff is spot on.
Our culinary experience was nothing short of orgasmic. Everything we tasted was perfect and presented with a Zen like touch. Tapas in Exton .Try 43 different Tapas (appetizers). Your damb straight right in the heart of Exton, don’t kid your self, there menu encompasses cuisine from all over the world. Smaller portions with bold flavors + price great = a great restaurant.
The oysters, how can I forget there oysters? . Some other eateries in the area should check out the Riverstone Cafe. To there Chef, kudos my dear you should be proud of yourself, your food stands out in a crowd. Enough said
Riverstone is consistently good. Oysters are fresh and cold. Tapas are very good, although I was a disappointed that they ran out of sashimi last night. The French Onion Soup is only second to the old 10 Downing Street. It is worth a trip just for the soup. Our waitress was good, but overly eager; she removed one plate before we were done (we were still using the dipping sauce). Definitely worth trying.
Stopped in last week for lunch and was seated next to an office group of fourteen. This could have been the Kiss of Death but our service was great and so was theirs. Everyone pitched in to help, including the manager, and we got our food promptly and the group of fourteen all got their entrees withing a minute of each other. All seemed to be getting different items but that didn't seem to cause any problems. If anyone is looking for a place to take a large group I would highly recommend The Riverstone. The crab chowder, oysters and pork tapas were all great. Nice experience.
We were there for V-day and man, we didnt regret it even for a moment. The martini I ordered(pomogranate+lime+vodka) for was to die for (I repeated, ofcourse).
We started off with raw oyster platter which was fresh and had a nice sea-salty flavour to it. Next we had roasted oysters. The "rockerfeller" roasted oysters were full of flavourful juices, the one with Bacon wasnt all that great. I would probably stay away from topped roasted oysters as you can hardly taste the oyster!
We loved the pan-fried oyster that came in next. The champagne flavour of the sauce was exquisite~ the oyster fried to perfection.
Not to move away from tapas, we had the chipotle hammus, which ..hmmmm wasnt good at all! ive definately had better hammus.
Needless to say, we skipped the dessert
I would definately go there again, and would highly recommend it!
i went there for lunch the other day, and it was terrific! I had a fantastic crabcake sandwich on a roll that was made for the crabcake. Crabcake lovers know what i mean.
There were very few diners there, which surprised me, considering how fabulous this place is.
This is a great alternative to the chain restaurants of Exton. Great prices, you can get a couple drinks and a filling dinner for $50.00 for two. The oysters are really great, wellfleet are my favorite which I tried on recommendation from one of the great servers. Very comfortable atmosphere, attentive staff, good food that has something for everyone. Tapas are good to share or as a light meal on their own. It's our "go to" restaurant that is cheap enough for a weeknight meal.

Tapas, tapas, tapas… Could there be a more perfect meal? A little bit o' this, a little bit o' that. Hummus plate, pizzas, scallops, mmmmm….
If you are dining with folks that don't want tapas, you can order off of Winner's Circle menu as well!
I agree–the tapas are great.
The Sunday brunch buffet is also great and well worth the money.

Amazing Sunday morning breakfast buffet! Except no pancakes, that was a little disappointing. All the other options more than made up for that though!
