If you were at this location years ago when it was called Lin’s or
Lyn’s it is not the same. The menu is more like a real Vietnamese
noodle house. At least like the kind in the USA. They offer about a
dozen large bowl soups–not as many as you will find in South Phila.
but how far are you willing to drive for a bowl of soup? They also
serve many other Vietnamese items such as broken rice.
I should point out that I was only interested in their Pho
(pronounced Phu)–the working mans lunch. It is a combination beef
broth with rice noodles and meat. I loved their “Bamboo Pho” which had
Beef Tendon, Beef Tripe, Sliced Flank Steak, Vietnamese meatballs and
Sliced Rib Eye. For those less interested in Tripe and Tendon they
offer a plain Pho for $6.95 with a choice of Chicken, Beef or
Meatballs. They also have many seafood soups for around $8.95. These
are all very larg portions and served with a plate of basil,
beansprouts and hot peppers- they can be put in your soup if you
choose to do so, They also offer four sauces which can really mess up
the flavor of the soup if you are not careful.
