The 31st Annual Chester County Restaurant Festival will be held on September 19th (rain date September 26th), from Noon until 5:30 pm. You’re invited… and this event is totally free to attend.
The Chester County Culinary Challenge is back by popular demand. Four chefs will compete to win the title of the best chef in Chester County. They will cook an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
More than 50 restaurants are participating, with nearly 110 arts & crafts vendors and information booths, three stage areas for live music and the “Church Street Café,” where patrons can sit and relax with a pint of refreshing brew.
All restaurant booths will be on Gay Street between Matlack Street and Darlington Street. Vendors will be on High Street from Market Street to Chestnut Street.
Parking in all Borough of West Chester garages is $3.00 for all day
NO PETS ALLOWED. We love them too, but please, leave your pets at home for this food-related event. Anyone accompanied by a pet will be asked to leave.

WestChesterDish.com Choice Awards
The WestChesterDish.com Choice Awards return this year at the 2010 Chester County Restaurant Festival. Restaurants enter to win awards in three categories: Best Appetizer, Best Entrée, and Best Dessert. Festival goers will choose the winners by sending special text message votes using their cell phones. Bring your phones, and make your voice heard! Check out the 2010 Choice Awards entries…
Chester County Culinary Challenge
Starts at 2:30 pm in front of the historic court house on High St.
Back by popular demand, The Chester County Culinary Challenge! Four chefs will compete to win the title of the best chef in Chester County. The Challenge will consist of three rounds. During the first round, each chef will prepare an appetizer; the second, an entrée; and the third, a dessert. At the beginning of each round a surprise ingredient will be introduced. If the surprise ingredient is incorporated in the dish of that round, bonus points will be awarded. Each dish will be judged by a panel of local foodies. At the end of the competition the winner of the 2010 Chester County Culinary Challenge will be crowned.
Live Music & Dancing
There are three locations with eight different bands performing throughout the day. The performances will be held on Gay St. at Matlack St. and Darlington St and at the corner of Market St. and Church St.
