The Dilworthtown Inn Wine Festival unfolded this past Sunday, October 14th, boasting a fabulous turnout and raising funds for The Cancer Program of The Chester County Hospital and Neighborhood Hospice. Did you have a chance to attend? Those who did enjoyed a grand tasting of more than 100 wines, live entertainment, an impressive silent auction, a performance car show, and an artisan shopping gallery — all for a great cause!
Guests of this year’s event were also lucky to spot the debut of a special wine series from Galer Estate Vineyard & Winery of Kennett Square. Their Bottling Hope Collection was created as a unique project to support Chester County patients living with cancer. Chester County artists Lele Galer, John Hannafin, Phil Jamison and Karl Kuerner each created a painting for the 2012 wine labels. The eye-catching collector’s series featured two reds and two whites, and was up for purchase at the festival — which many opted to do!
With all the fun that unraveled, chances are you might have a missed a few things even if you did attend. Fortunately, The Town Dish captured the action. Check out the 2012 Dilworthtown Inn Wine Festival Album to see what you missed, jog jolly memories and maybe spy yourself having a wonderful time!
