My Buddy, My Buddy

mybuddy2Okay, so all weekend I have had the same jingle running through my head and I’m pretty sure it’s because I’ve been obsessed with a certain food for the last two weeks.

What song is that you ask? Oh, just a little somethin’ somethin’ I picked up from watching Saturday morning cartoons when I was growing up. Goes something like this…

“My Buddy, My Buddy. Wherever I go heeeeeeee’s gonna go. My Buddy, My Buddy, My Buddy and ME!” Then the next line for the little girl version called Kid Sister pops into my head. If you don’t remember it or you want to get it stuck in your head here’s the video. It’s creepier then I remembered.

Anyway… WHY you ask is this song running though my head? No doubt it’s the inspiration from the delicious burgers at Buddy’s Burgers, Breasts and Fries.

A perfect burger with free unlimited toppings like white cheddar and AVOCADO with no-brainers like lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo? It’s been my guilty pleasure lately and I just can’t get enough. How can I resist when on Sunday a Buddy only costs two bucks? I just can’t they are too damn good. My Buddy… My Buddy… wherever I go….

Final Dish: I know, I know, I”m a dork… but seriously isn’t that doll creepishly similar to the Chucky doll?

  1. Best burgers in the area!

  2. Its "Wherever I go, heeeee GOES. My buddy…"

He does look like Chucky. I once tied up, shot, and burned my sisters cabbage patch doll who's name was "Chuck"…after seeing the movie Chucky at about age 6. In the movie the first person Chucky kills has the same name as my mother. It was very disturbing…

  3. Hello Mary, love the idea of eating my bouquet. and btw, thank you for your presentation at WRN on Tuesday……! love this blog you've got going here….i have a blog at http://www.ArtyPantz.blogspot.com. I'm an artist and it's about living the creative life. Have you ever thought of expanding WCdish to include art/culture in WC?
