Wine Dinner at Teikoku

Last week I had the pleasure of attending a fabulous wine dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Chester County. Penns Woods Winery provided the (absolutely tastiest Pennsylvania) wine (that I’ve ever had) to pair with Teikoku’s Iron Chef Takao Iinuma’s palate-pleasing food. This was a winning combination and an absolute success of an event. If you missed this pairing you’d be crazy to miss out on the next one.

Get the full scoop on the wines from wine master, Wine Dude, on his A + wine blog. (Crossing my fingers he’ll be our new wine writer.)

The Final Dish:

I think after tasting the Tahitian Vanilla gelato covered in 50+ year old Modena balsamic vinegar made from trebbiano grapes (retails for $40 and oz.) I said something about having a food orgasm. Inappropriate? Yes. Could I help saying it? No. (I blame the wine and delicious food.)
