Thank god for Instant Messaging (IM). I use this internet communication on a daily basis with two of my best friends from my hometown. I pop on to say hello in the morning before work to check in on them and see what is going on in their lives.

Even though they are very busy at home they still find the time to stop by wcdish and read about what I’ve been up to. I just found out today that one of my friends may actually be gaining weight because of my site…

My friend: I check your website everyday.
Me: No way
Friend: Of course I do! I love reading your blogs
Me: Did you read today’s?
Friend: Not yet, I check after lunch.
Me: I see
Friend: Sometimes if I check before, it makes me hungry and I end up eating Fritos.

This is where I started cracking up and told her I was including that on a blog.

She continued to write…
So here’s some more info about how your website has inspired me to eat…

1. When you wrote about coffee and what it says about a person, I started drinking coffee again. You made it seem to tasty, so satisfying, how could I resist?

2. Your stories of Turkish watermelon and feta made me want to try this quirky combo…

3. I really did rethink croutons, and haven’t touched one since.

4. I’ve made an effort to go to the g-burg farmers market.

5. And even though I hate seafood, I WANT a lobster BLT, with a perfect bite crafted by the Rock Star!

6.Heck, i even wanted to try turkey flavored soda!

So don’t think you’re not reaching your readers….you’re tickling their taste buds!

The Final Dish: Thanks Sole Mate for your thoughts. So maybe websites can make you fat? Hmmmm…

  1. WC Dish always makes me hungry, but even she couldn’t make me want to drink turkey soda.

    Coffee, yes. Turkey… no.
